Alfred "Gunslinger" Clark, a truck driver and long-time resident of Baton Rouge, LA departed this life Tuesday May 6, 2025 after a long-term battle with cancer, at his home in Gretna, Louisiana. He was 68 years old. He was passionately known as Gunslinger. He is the son of the late Shirley Williams Clark and Roosevelt Clark. Father of Randell Brock (Amanda) and Alfred Clark, Jr., (Alicia); Brother of Bettye Watson, Karl Clark (Monica), Sandra C. Miller (Gil, Sr.), Darnell Clark, Shirley Hollins, and Dale Clark. Devoted companion of Shelia Bennett; Devoted nephew of Kermit "Joe" Williams and Bill "Peck" Henry James Jr., He is survived by 9 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild, and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by 1 grandchild.
Relatives and friends of the family, also priest and parishioners of St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church, Marrero, LA, employees of Primoris Construction Co., Gonzales, LA, and First Student of New Orleans, LA, are invited to attend the Graveside Service at Restlawn Cemetery, Avondale, LA on Monday May 19, 2025 at 11:00 a.m., Father Sidney Speaks officiating. A Celebration of Life event will be held at a later date.
