Albert Joseph Owens

Albert Joseph Owens Sr. departed this life on Friday, December 9, 2022, at his home in Algiers LA. He was 87 years old.

Son of the late Sam Owens and Viola Stevenson Owens. Father of Albert Jr., Bridget, and Deidra Owens. Brother of the late Rebecca Owens Mitchell, Billy, Freddy, and Henry Owens Sr. Mr. Owens is also survived by his devoted nephew and caregiver Preston Mitchell, niece Vanessa Mitchell and nephews Grayland Mitchell and Billy King, as well as several grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the celebration of life service which will be held on Thursday, December 22, 2022, at Fisher Community Church located at 1737 L.B. Landry Ave. New Orleans LA. 70114. The visitation will begin at 9A.M. followed by a 10A.M. service. Bishop J. Nelson Brown officiating and interment will be private.
