Vera Mae Burton Zeno

Vera Mae Burton Zeno departed this life on Monday, February 4, 2019 at West Jefferson Medical Center in Marrero, LA. She was 81 years old and a native of Tylertown, Miss. and a longtime resident of Avondale, LA.

Daughter of the late Willie and O.D. Dillion Burton. Beloved wife of the late Mitchell Zeno Jr. Devoted mother of James L. (Michelle) Warren, Cynthia (Byron) Jones, Mitchell Zeno III and the late Dorothy Marie Williams. Sister of Gloria Miller and the late Annie Mae Miller, Willie C. Dillion, M.C. Dillion and I.H. Miller. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, several great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and devoted friends.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral service on Saturday, February 16, 2019 at Little Zion Baptist Church 433 Avondale Garden Road Avondale, LA 70094 at 10 am. Visitation will begin at 8:30 am. Pastor Damien J. Brown officiating. Interment will be private.
