Terri Smith Johnson entered into eternal rest on Thursday, November 9, 2017 at Ochsner Hospital. She was 45 years old. She was a resident of Avondale, LA and a native of New Orleans, LA.

Loving daughter of Michael and the late Carol Duplessis and Rodney Dozier.  Beloved mother of Terrance and Joseph Johnson. Devoted sister of Tachel (Jerro) Jones, Michael (Amanda) Duplessis, Michelle Francois, Yolanda, D’wana, Wanda, Temize, Rodney Jr., Ryan and Richard Dozier. Aunt of Tichelle, Shonte’, Kiasha, Janae, Jaylynd, Joshua, Jalen, Javonte and Michael III. Niece of Constance (Anthony) Brown, Brenda Antoine, Gail Duplessis and Paulette Duplessis. Deceased also survived by a host of other relatives and friends.

Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of Central St. Matthews United Church of Christ, Caffin Avenue Seventh Day Adventist Church, Life Center Cathedral and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the funeral services on Friday, November 16, 2017 at Central St. Matthews United Church of Christ 1333 South Carrollton Avenue New Orleans, LA at 11:00 a.m. Visitation will start at 9:00 a.m. Pastor Phil Brockett officiating. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Park Memorial Cemetery 9820 9 Mile Point Road Westwego, LA 70094.
