Stella Ann Ruiz Landry, a native and lifelong resident of New Orleans, La departed this life on Wednesday, November 22, 2017 at Cannon Hospice. She was 77 years old. Mrs. Landry was a retired Para Professional with Orleans Parish School Board, having taught at both Murray Henderson and W.J. Fisher Elementary High School. She also worked for Walmart for several years after retiring.

Beloved daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Scovell Ruiz. Devoted mother of Marilyn (late Burnell) Ruiz Jackson, Charlotte (Andrea) Ruiz Baker and the late Keith (Gisele) Ruiz and Garland Charles. Sister of Gwendolyn, Juanita, Gayle, Gladys, Frances, Joseph, Domingo and Paul Ruiz. Grandmother of Shaunyika, Chaz, Timmy (Erika), Burnell, Cornell (Patricia), Monique, Shakeitra, Corey, Reginald (Lisha), Kyron, Taja, Brent, Armoni and Tre’s. Deceased also survived by several great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, devoted friends and close family friend Elonda Deloch.

Relatives and friends of the family also members of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witness are invited to attend the funeral discourse on Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at Robinson Family Funeral Home 9611 Hwy 23 Belle Chasse, LA 70037 at 11 A.M. Visitation will start at 9 AM. A private interment will follow funeral discourse.
