Robert Dyer

           Robert Dyer entered into eternal rest on Thursday, February 16, 2018 at the age of 105. He served in the U.S. Army from 1940-1947 and retired from FDR Hospital in New York City in 1975. He attended Tuskegee Institute on a scholarship and graduated in 1940 with a degree in Commercial Dietetics. While attending Tuskegee Institute, he met and worked under George Washington Carver.

Son of the late Andrew Dyer and Mary Dyer. He is the brother of the late Minnie Lee Dyer and Lillie Mae Dyer-Green. Uncle to the late Lester R. Dyer, Sr., and Robert S. Green, III. Beloved Great Uncle to Lester R. Dyer, Jr., Cynthia Dyer-Jacobs, Donna Douglas-Dyer, and Leslynne Golden. Great-Great Uncle to Ashley Dyer, Lester R. Dyer, III., Eric Dyer, Timothy Jacobs, III, Ja’Don Douglas, Dacota Douglas, Tonyale Lewis-Delomre, Toiya Lewis-Honore’, Andrew Green, and Robert A. Green, Sr. He is also survived by a host of cousins, great-great great nephews and nieces, and numerous friends.

 Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral services on Thursday, March 15, 2018 at Robinson Family Funeral Home 9611 Highway 23 Belle Chase, LA at 12:00 noon with visitation at 11:00am until service time. Entombment Lake Lawn Metairie Cemetery in New Orleans, La.
