Louis Bradley Sr.

Louis “Brim“ Bradley Sr., departed this life peacefully on Sunday July 15, 2018 at his home in Oakville La., surrounded by his loving family. He was 93 years old and was a Native and lifelong resident of Oakville La.  Mr. Bradley was a retired production operator for Chevron U.S.A. with over 37 years of service.  He was also a proud United States Army Veteran having fought in World War II.  He was the recipient of the Purple Heart Medal, The Bronze Service Medal and in 2015 was awarded the French Legion Of Honor Medal.

Son of the late Milton and Melvina McGinnis Bradley.  Beloved husband of Mildred Sanders Bradley.  Devoted father of Louis Bradley Jr., Melvina Bradley (Charles) Johnson, Mable Bradley (Calvin Sr.)Ogden, Gregory Bradley, Anthony Bradley, Eric Milton Bradley, Rosalind Bradley (Frank III) Smith, Glynda Bradley, Roland (Linda) Bradley, Byron Bradley Sr., Stephanie Bradley (Wendell) Watts and  Ericka Bradley (Troy) Martin  Brother of the late James Clarence Bradley Sr., Harold Bradley Sr. and Joseph Bradley. 

Deceased also survived by 33 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and devoted friends.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral service on Monday July 23, 2018 at the Oakville Missionary Baptist Church located at 100 West Oakville St, Oakville La. 70037 at 11A.M.  Visitation will begin at 9 A.M.  Bishop Wilfret Johnson officiating.  Entombment will follow in Oakville Cemetery in Oakville La.

The Bradley family will also receive guest for a visitation on Sunday July 22, 2018 at Robinson Family Funeral Home located at 9611 Hwy 23 Belle Chasse La. from 6 P.M. until 8 P.M.
