Lizzie Duncan Williams transitioned peacefully from labor to reward on Monday April 16, 2018 at Good Samaritans Nursing facility in New Orleans. She was a blessed 100 years old and was born on Tuesday March 5, 1918 in Boothville La and spent most of here life in the Gentilly neighborhood of New Orleans. She retired many years ago as a day laborer for the Yellin and Neilson Families of New Orleans.
Daughter of the late Robert Duncan Sr. And Zickley Prout. Beloved wife of the late Leo Williams. Devoted mother of Cleopatricia Hillery (late Edward Hillery) and the late Bernita (Wilbert Sr.) Alexander and Norman (late Florine) Williams .
Cherished grandmother of Peggy (Frank) Clark , Leo (Joy) Alexander , Kim Alexander , Jerry (Misty) Alexander , Pricilla (Rev. Jerome Sr.) Smith, Eric (Nedra) Alexander , Byron (Connie) Alexander , Adrienne (Harold) Brinkley, Carla (Roland) Macalister, Patrick (Lynette) Hillery, Gail Hillery, Norman Hillery Jr., Michael Hillery and the late Wilbert Alexander Jr.
Deceased is also survived by several great and great great grandchildren, a host of nieces,nephews, cousins, other relatives and devoted friends
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend our dear Lizzie's home going celebration on Tuesday April 24, 2018 at Saint Paul C.O.G.I.C. Located at 1020 Forstall St. New Orleans La. At 10A.M. Visitation will begin at 9A.M. Pastor Ernest Dison officiating. Interment will follow at Providence Memorial Park In Metarie La.
