KIMMETT WASHINGTON, a native of New Orleans, was called into the gates of Heaven on Friday, June 23, 2017 due to a tragic car accident. He was 36 years old.  Beloved son of the late Alma Mae Washington and Wilson Nathan Ross.  Devoted father of Kimmett Reed, Sonique, Kimmonie Jones and Ziya Lee.  Loving brother of Nathan Ross, Raven Ross, Laura Washington, Wanda Smith, Cynthia Johnson and Pamela Allen.  Also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and devoted friends.  Relatives and friends of the family and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the home going service on Saturday July 3, 2017 at Greater Old Zion B.C. located at 655 N. Rochenblave St. New Orleans La., at 10 a.m. visitation will begin at 8 a.m. Pastor Mat Turner officiating.  Interment will follow at Resthaven cemetery 1040 Old Gentilly Road.
