Jane Marjorie Phillips Bartholomew departed this life on Wednesday, January 23, 2019 at her daughter’s home in Lucedale, Mississippi. She was 84 years old and a lifelong resident of Port Sulphur, LA.
Daughter of the late Eddie Phillips Sr. and Angelique Bartholomew Phillips. Devoted wife of the late Carol Leo Bartholomew. Beloved mother of Kathy Bartholomew, Dwight (Jeanie) Bartholomew and the late Frankie Bartholomew. Loving grandmother of Necolle (Quindell) Alexis, Chad (Kelly) Alexis and Sajan Bartholomew. Sister of Claudette Phillips (Ronald) Verdun and the late Eddie Phillips Jr. and Claude Phillips Sr. Deceased also survived by 11 great grandchildren, 35 nieces and nephews, a host of cousins and devoted friends.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, February 2, 2019 at St. Patrick Catholic Church 28698 Hwy 23 Port Sulphur, LA 70083 at 11 a.m. Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. Father Gerald Stapleton Celebrant. Interment will follow at Westlawn Memorial Park 1225 Whitney Ave. Gretna, LA 70056.
