JEANETTE MARIE GABRIEL EDWARDS, departed this life on Tuesday, September 26, 2017. She was 58 years old.

Beloved daughter of Deloris Firven Gabriel and the late Clarence Gabriel Sr. Wife of Darrell Edwards. Beloved sister of Judy Simmons, Clarence Jr, Wallace and McDouglas Gabriel. Devoted aunt “Mother Like Figure” to Cassidy Gabriel and Shariyona Cain.

Also survived by her devoted nieces and nephews Pernell, Herbert (God son) and Zandra Simmons, Shannon Appleberry, Amber and Chicquita White. Devoted Cousin Everhelina “Susie” Addison, caregiver Darleen Hicks as well as a host of cousins, other relatives and devoted friends.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral services on Friday, October 13, 2017 at Little Zion Baptist Church located at 433 Avondale Garden Road Avondale, La. at 1 PM. Visitation will begin at 11 AM. Pastor Damien Brown officiating. Interment will follow at Restlawn Cemetery 3540 US-90 Avondale, LA 70094.
