Irvin “Penny” “Big Red” Williamson Jr., departed this life on Tuesday, October 3, 2017, at his home in Belle Chasse surrounded by his loving family. He was 83 years old.. 

Son of the late Irvin and Vivian Bailey Williamson Sr. Stepson of the late Hannah G. Williamson.  Loving husband of the late Vivian Williamson.  Devoted father of Irvin Williamson III, Cassandra (Andrew) Laurant, Roosevelt Williamson, and Rhonda (Clarence) Riley. Deceased is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, 2 devoted nephews, Emery (Karen) Williams and Carzell (Linda) Williams Sr. and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

 Relatives and friend of the family, officers and members of Greater Mount Calvary Church, Second Nazarine Baptist Church, Isralite Baptist Church, and all neighboring churches, employees of Jefferson Parish School Board, Lockheed-Martin, Turner Industries, and Plaquemines Parish School Board are invited to attend the Homegoing Celebration at Greater Mount Calvary Church, 1600 Westwood Dr., Marrero, LA 70072 at 11:00 am.  Apostle Terry Gullage Sr. officiating.  Visitation will be 9:00 a.m.  Interment in Westlawn Cemetery 1225 Whitney Avenue Gretna, LA. 

The family will receive guest for visitation on Friday, October 13, 2017, at Robinson Family Funeral 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., 9611 Highway 23, Belle Chasse LA 70037
