Herman Charles Morris Jr.

Herman Charles Morris Jr. departed this life on Saturday, June 9, 2018 at
the age of 75. He was a retired Maintenance Porter for 43 years with the Port of
New Orleans.
Son of the late Herman Sr. and Dorothy Joseph Morris. Devoted companion of
Mary Richardson. Father of Bianca and Angelique Sterling and Tanya Morris.
Stepfather of Henry (Maya) Richardson, James (Jacquelin), Mary, Arudy, Eva and
Tiffany Richardson. Brother of Larry Joseph Morris Sr. and Brenda Morris.
Deceased also survived by a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces,
nephews, cousins and devoted friends.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral service on
Thursday, June 21, 2018 at Faith Walker’s Church 1240 Oretha Castle Haley Blvd.
New Orleans, LA 70113 at 11 A.M. Visitation begins at 10 A.M. Pastor Joshua
Osbey officiating. Internment will follow in Resthaven Cemetery in New Orleans,
LA.
