Herman Mitchell Brown Sr.

Born March 29, 1973 in New Orleans, Louisiana, Herman M. Brown Sr. was the son of Chester Brown Sr. and Esther Marie Carney. He was educated in the New New Orleans Public School System where he graduated from Lawless Senior High School.

Herman was blessed with three children, Herman Jr., Shemar Thompson and Jeremiah Brown. He married Tia Davis on January 22, 2007.

He had the opportunity to work in several different industries but really enjoyed working at Pepsi Cola of Reserve, LA. He loved football, music, dancing and dressing.

He enjoyed and cherished the time he spent with his wife, children, family, and even extended family. He was called "Tank" by all his friends. He had a true love for rap music. He built his own studio in 2010 and became a producer of T2 Music Studio. 

He leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife Tia Davis, his sons Herman Jr., Shemar Thompson and Jeremiah Brown. Step-son Keenan Smith, Siblings Ora Wells, Chester Brown Jr. (Pepper), Patrice Gordon, Chester J. Brown Jr. (Salt), Sabrina Thompson, LeTishia Daniels, Tangela Brown, Nicole Stukes, Renatta Carney, Alaysia Brown and a host of nieces and nephews, and other relatives and friends. 

He was preceded in death by his grandparents Esther Landry, Hayward Acker, Elmer (Pearl) Brown, Mitchell Brown, parents Esther Marie Carney, Chester Brown Sr. and stepfather Willie Carney.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral service on Saturday, March 2, 2019 at Riverland Christian Center 123 Redemption Way Reserve, LA 70084 at 10 a.m. The public visitation will begin at 8:30 a.m. Pastor Farrow Freeman officiating. Interment will follow in Pearlington Cemetery 5268 Hwy 604 Pearlington, Mississippi.
