Donald Earl Carr

Donald Earl Carr departed this life on Thursday, July 26, 2018 at his daughter’s home in Ponchatoula, LA. He was 81 years old and a former longtime resident of Belle Chasse, LA. Born on October 29, 1936 in Cass, WV, Donald served in the U.S. Army and retired from Plexco Pipeline where he was a supervisor. He held various jobs throughout his retirement.

Son of the late Russell E. Carr and Nina (Swisher) Carr Wyatt. Father of David A. Carr, Kimberly C. Forrest, Teresa C. Landry (Tommy), and James R. Carr. Grandfather of Gregory “Lee” (Tammie) Carr, Gary Carr, Crystal T. (Curt) Dufrene, Cooper Landry, Jacob Landry, Noah Carr and Levi Carr. Great grandfather of Andre Carr, Brandon Carr and Bryce Gibson. Loving companion of Rosemary Bonvillian. Brother of the late Louise Booth, Dorothy Booth, Donna Dorsey and Harry Carr.

A memorial service will be held at Robinson Family Funeral Home 9611 Hwy 23 Belle Chasse, LA 70037 on Saturday, August 4, 2018 at 11 A.M. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Interment will be private.
