Dolores “Dosey” Antoine Turner departed this life on Thursday, February 1, 2018 at her home in Gretna, La surrounded by her loving family. She was 88 years old.

Daughter of the late Milton Antoine Sr. and Eveleyn Williams Antoine. Wife of the late Oliver Turner Sr. Mother of Oliver (Irene) Jr., Fredrick (late Shelia) Sr., Keith, Darrell (Sheila) Turner, Roslyn Turner, Thelma (late Joseph) Jackson, Elouise Bartholomew and Lisa T. (Oscar) Garrison and the late Kerry and Oscar Turner. Sister of Milton (Shirley) Antoine Jr. Evelyn (Donald) Rose, Wilfred and Linda Antoine Sr. and the late Joseph, Lawrence and Vernon Antoine and Edna Avist. Deceased also survived by a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, other relatives and friends.

Relatives and friends of the family, also employees of Cannon Hospice, Heart of Hospice, Gattuso, JPSO, NAS JRB Naval Base and Premire Industries, Crescent City Cowboys, West Jeff Hospital, Neighboring churches of Plaquemines Parish are invited to attend the funeral service at New Home Ministries 411 Opelousas Ave. New Orleans, La 70114 on Friday, February 9, 2018 at 11 AM. Visitation will begin at 9 AM. Bishop Leroy J. Phoenix officiating. Internment at Fischer Cemetery Port Sulphur, La.
