DESCHON RENE BROWN JACKSON, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, October 19, 2017 at Touro Hospital in New Orleans La.  She was 54 years old and was a lifelong resident of New Orleans, La. She was a graduate of Joseph S. Clark High School and was a devoted member of the Greater Harvest B.C. under the leadership of Pastor Noily Paul Sr. where she was a part of several church ministries.

Daughter of the late Harold and Shirley Mae Brown Sr.  Devoted and loving wife of Byron Jackson.  Cherished mother of Jamyra Brown and Breiontay Jackson.  Sister of Wanda, Andre, Rochelle, Troy, Acqueline Henley, Jeralyn and the late Harold, Cedric and Jevelle.  Grandmother of Marquise, Darraiel, Da’Myran, Ja’Myran and Bronx – E. 

Deceased also survived by her aunt Arthell Simon, her devoted mother-in-law Beverly Randall Jackson and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and devoted friends.

Relatives and friends of the family and members of Greater Harvest Missionary and Mt. Zion Baptist churches are invited to attend the funeral services on Saturday, October 28, 2017, at Mt. Zion Baptist Church located at 701 Huey P. Long Ave, Gretna La. 70053., at 11 A.M.  Visitation will begin at 9 A.M.  Pastor Noily Paul Sr. Officiating.  Interment will follow in Providence Memorial Park, Metairie La.
