Craig Girod

Craig Girod departed this life on Tuesday, November 6, 2018 at Tunlane Medical Center in New Orleans, LA. He was 36 years old and a resident of Marrero, LA.

Beloved son of Ernestine Girod and Jerome Warren. Stepson of William Scott and the late Conrad England. Beloved father of Craig William, Nevaeh, Kree and Bentley Chermaie and the late Jada Chermaie. Devoted companion of Tameka London. Brother of Kendra Meyer, Mo’nique (Jackie) Girod, Kizzy (Marvin) Scieneaux, Jasmine (Shawn) Girod, Shawn Coxstroke, Michelle Lame, Denise and Alex Shepparde, Calvin Jackson, Gregory (Samantha) Girod, James Henry, Jerome Ford, Jerome Smallwood, Tyrone Coleman and the late Shane Jackson. Grandson of Samuel Martin and the late Wilton Girod Jr., Irene Verette and Warren Ivory Warren Sr. and Olemae Warren. Deceased also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and acquaintances.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral service on Saturday, November 17, 2018 at 10 a.m. at Little Zion Baptist Church 441 Wilson St. Marrero, LA 70072. Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. Pastor Norman Smith officiating. Interment will be privately held at a later date.
