Angele Marie Williams

Angele Marie Williams departed this life on Tuesday July 10, 2018 at her home in Violet La. She was 68 years old and was a retired assistant loan department manager for Mississippi River Bank.

Daughter of the late Lawrence Duplessis and Elise Pierre.  Beloved wife of Nelson Clarence Williams Jr.  Devoted mother of Martha (Priscilla) Rogers, Janiero (Gilyia) Baxter and Shermaine (Don Powell) Barthelemy. Stepmother of  Shannon (Otis) Mackey and Nelson (Angela) Williams III. Sister of Harold (Brenda), Lloyd (Rosie Marie) and Larry (Carrie) Gusman and the late Charles Lafrance. Godmother of Holly Miles, Kevin Smith, O’Herra Reddick and Jacoby Brown.  

Deceased also survived by 18 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and devoted friends.

Relatives and friends of the family, Pastor, officers, and members of Bethlehem Baptist Church of Braithwaite LA, Bethlehem African Judea Baptist Church of Point-Ala-Hache La ,and all neighboring churches of Plaquemines and St. Bernard Parishes, employees of  Mississippi River Bank, Regions Bank, Plaquemines Parish Sheriff’s Department, Point-Ala-Hache Volunteer Fire Department, Cannon Hospice and Phoenix High School  are invited to attend the Celebration of Life services on Saturday July 21, 2018 at the Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church located at 111 Bethlehem Lane Braithwaite La. at 10A.M. Visitation will begin at 9A.M.  Dr. Michael Wade Jiles Sr. officiating. Entombment will follow in Bethlehem Cemetery in Braithwaite La.
