Albert "Patoon" Joseph Manuel

Albert Joseph “Patoon” Manuel departed this life on Sunday, May 6, 2018 at his home in Amite La. He was 68 years old and a native of Port Sulphur, and a resident of Pinegrove, Louisiana. Beloved son of the late Joseph (Redd) Manuel and Josephine Zenon Manuel Barthelemy. Devoted and loving husband of Cheryl Buras Manuel.  Stepfather of Gena’ White Olds and Nicole White.

Brother of Johnny L. Manuel Sr., and the late James (late Grachell), Betty, Ronald, Michael Manuel Sr., Mildred (Mitchell) Parker, Anita (Felix) Turner and George Manuel Sr. Brother-in-law of Pearlie Manuel. Step-grandfather of Trey Olds and Brooklyn (Stanley) White Plow. Deceased is also survived devoted friends Larry Williams, Sr., Irvin Stafford, Cedric Hall, Thomas Salsbury, Calvin Neveles, Bobby Morgan, Bob Richard, and Sylvester Watson, along with a  host of step great grandchildren, nieces, nephews  cousins and friends. Albert will be deeply missed but never forgotten.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral service on Saturday, May 12, 2018 at Greater Macedonia Baptist Church located at 27796 Hwy. 23, Port Sulphur, LA. at  10 a.m. Pastor Mandrel Pansy Sr. officiating. Visitation will begin at 8 a.m. Entombment will follow at St. Patrick Cemetery in Port Sulphur LA. The family would like to send a special thanks to Heart of Hospice, ALS Coordinator Sherry Hamilton and Becky Davis of Accent Care.
