Shantell Shanice Jackson, of Slidell, departed this life on Monday, October 16, 2017. She was 23 years old.

Beloved daughter of Steven M. Jackson and Darlene M. Jackson. Stepdaughter of Portia Thomas Jackson. Devoted mother of Sa’Niya D. Brown and Simeon S. Brown. Loving sister of Destiny J. (Harold) Woods, Dayshaun L. Morton, and Breanne E. Conley. Stepsister of Nutrinika (Marvin) Barthelemy and I’Shon (A’Nara Miller) Thomas. Granddaughter of Paul and Marion Jackson and the late Kermitt and Mary Morton.

Deceased also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral service on Saturday, October 28, 2017 at St. John Baptist Church 7047 Highway 39 Braithwaite, Louisiana 70040 at 11 AM. Visitation will begin at 9:30 AM. Pastor John Riley officiating. Interment will follow in St. Thomas Catholic Church Cemetery in Point-Ala-Hache, LA.

The family will recieve guest for a visitation on Friday, October 27, 2017 at Robinson Family Funeral Home from 6 PM until 8 PM.
