Rose Mary Williams Brown

Rose Mary Williams Brown departed this life on Friday, February 16, 2018 at her home in Bogalusa, La. She was 89 years old.

Daughter of the late James and Ida Mae Williams. Beloved wife by first marriage of the late Robert L. Bankston and by the second marriage of the late Henry Brown. Devoted mother of Patricia A. Dixon, Judith Bankston, Gilbert Morgan Jr., Larry Bankston and the late Robert S. Bankston and Rogers Bankston. Sister of Tabby, Dana, Joseph and James "Buddy" (Lois) Williams Jr. and the late Barbara Hunter, Marilyn Norris, Charles and Robert Williams. Mrs. Brown is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and devoted friends.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, February 23, 2018 at 11 A.M. at St. Peter Claver Catholic Church 1923 St. Philips St. New Orleans, La 70116. Father John Aare-Dankwah will celebrate the Mass. Visitation will begin at 10 A.M. Internment will follow at Restlawn Park Cemetery in Avondale, La.
