ROSEMARY POLLY JONES entered into eternal rest at her home in Gretna on Monday, June 26, 2017.  She was 74 years old.  A native of Ironton La., and a longtime resident of Gretna and Harvey La.  She is a retired Nurse Aid with over 15 years dedicated service at Manhattan Manor.  Daughter of the late Wash and Alice Henry Polly.  Devoted wife of 58 years of Joseph Jones Sr.   loving mother of Erica Jones, Rose Claiborne, Desired and Lisa Hawkins, Melvin Polly, Gregory, Eric and Joseph Jones Jr.  Sister of Annie Washington and Florence Watts and the late Melvin and Clarence Gibson, Marshall, William Jackson, Eugene Polly, Alice Watts, Augustine Black, and Everling Scott.  Deceased also survived by 38 grandchildren, several great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and devoted friends. Relatives and Friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral services on Saturday July 8, 2017 at True Fellowship Christian Center located at, 1101 Franklin Street Gretna La. at 10 a.m. Visitation will begin at 8 a.m. Bishop Clifford Green Officiating.  Interment will follow at Ironton Cemetery, Ironton La.
