Patrick Stewart Sr., An Army Veteran, departed this life on Sunday, September 24, 2017 at his son’s home in Marrero, LA. He was 70 years old and was a native and lifelong resident of Opelousas, LA.
Son of the late Sam and Edna Stoot Stewart. Beloved husband of the late Celestine Thomas Stewart. Devoted father of Patrick Jr. (Stacy), Quentin (Alice) and Courtney Stewart. Brother of Lebon (Earline) and Daniel Stewart, Roseline Ellis and Earline Gradnigo. Deceased also survived by 8 grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and devoted friends.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, September 30, 2017 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church located at 103 Lebeau Church Rd. Lebeau, LA 71345 at 11 AM. Visitation will begin at 9AM. Entombment will follow in the church’s cemetery. Father James Fallon S.S.J. officiating.
