Mildred Ann Battle-Etienne departed from this life of peace on Friday, June 20, 2017 at Ochsner Westbank Hospital. She was 63 years old.

Daughter of the late Bert & Gladys Barthelemy Battle. Loving wife of Arthur Etienne Sr. Devoted mother of Erica Battle, Rondell Battle Sr. and the late Victor Louis (Darcel) Battle Sr.  Stepmother of Arthur Etienne Jr, Bernadette Wallace, Jacqueline Harvey, Sharon Etienne, Rhonda (Rankin) Evans, Michael (Aretha) Etienne, Kevin Etienne (Kathleen) and the late Brian (Torie) Etienne. Sister of Regina Jones, Nadine Barthelemy, Gwenivere (Dwight) Joseph, Trudy(Billy) Hamilton, Lennix (Shannell) Battle, Roland(Donna) Battle, Elvis (Florence)Battle, Ellis, Errol, Bert, Doreen and the Late Ella Mae, Jenny & Lorenzo Battle.

Deceased also survived by 10 loving grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, July 1, 2017 at St. Thomas Catholic Church located at 17605 Hwy 15, Pointe ã La Hache, LA at 11 AM. Visitation will begin at 9 AM. Entombment will follow in St. Thomas Catholic Church Cemetery.
