JERROLD MATTHEW DENET SR., president and owner of Denet Towing Service Inc. for 35 years departed this life on Tuesday December 11, 2017.  He was 61 years old and was a native of Boothville La. and a resident of Jesuit Bend La.  He was a faithful member of Saint Joseph The Worker Catholic Church of Marrero for many years and also served as Chairman of the Board of Directors for the Venice Port Coalition and was known throughout Plaquemines Parish and the surrounding communities for the kind and generous services and deeds he provided especially to the ederly and less fortunate people of his community.  

 Son of the late Edward and Estelle Rodgers Denet.  Beloved husband of the late Melinda Pansy Denet.  Devoted father of Teneco (Megan) Denet Sr.,  DeJeanne M. Denet, and Jerrold M. (Carla) Denet Jr.

Cherished grandfather of Teon Maria and Teneco Denet Jr.  Brother of Emelda (late Felix) Encalade, Ella Mae Mackey, Pernell (Frank) Payne and the late Ronald (Geraldine), Sherman  and Edward Denet Jr.

Brother-In-Law of Berea Grant, Stacy Pansy and Lawrence Pansy Jr.

Deceased is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousin and devoted friends and business associates.

Relatives and friends of the family, priest and parishioners of Saint Joseph The worker Catholic Church, and all neighboring churches of Plaquemines Parish and surrounding areas, employees of Denet Towing Service Inc., TAD Trucking, Tre-Ten and Destiny Chiropractic Clinic are invited to attend the Mass Of Christian Burial on Wednesday December 20, 2017 at Saint Joseph The Worker Catholic Church located at 455 Ames Blvd. Marrero La. 70072 at 10 A.M. Father Eugene Jacques, Celebrant. Visitation will begin at 8 A.M.  Entombment will follow in Our Lady Of Good Harbor Cemetery Buras La.

The Denet family will also receive guest for a visitation on Tuesday December 19, 2017 at Saint Joseph Catholic Church from 6P.M. until 9 P.M.
