Hong Sreng Sun age 69, departed this life on Monday August 14, 2017 at Ochsner Hospital Westbank.

He was a native of Kampong Cham, Cambodia and was resident of Buras La. where he was a commercial fisherman for many years.

Beloved husband of Haum Choum Sun.  Devoted father of Phong Choum, Poorng Choum and Bun-Naan Choum.  Grandfather of Kalen Choum, Kaya Choum, Hannah Nguyen and Kameron Jeter.  Nephew of Oum Ouk of Long Beach California.

Deceased is also survived by several siblings, nieces, nephews, cousins and devoted friends in Cambodia.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a “Traditional Buddhist Ceremony” on Saturday August 26, 2017 at Robinson Family Funeral Home located at 9611 Hwy 23, Belle Chasse La., at 11A.M.  Visitation will begin at 9A.M. and Interment will take place in New Orleans at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday.

There will also be a visitation at the funeral home on Friday August 25, 2017 from 5P.M. until 10P.M., with the Buddhist prayer beginning at 6P.M.
