Christy Lanell Merrick departed this earth for her heavenly home on Saturday, November 4, 2017 at Port Sulphur Medical Center. She was 38 years old. Christy was a 1998 graduate of Boothville-Venice High School and served in the United States Airforce. 

Beloved daughter of Lucretia and Keith Espadron. Devoted Spouse of Derrick Lowe. Loving mother of Dontavius Johnson, Krislyn Lowe, and the late Amiracle Lowe. Sister of Hiwanis Lewis, Tierra Smith, Keith, Keshawn, and Ashley Espadron, Ashonte Thompson, O.J. Morris, Brandon Duncan, and Demesmen Jordan. Granddaughter of Augrine and Edward Encalade, and the late Carl Stewart Sr., Beatrice Merrick, and Elvira Espadron. Sister in law of Tracy Lewis, Donald Smith, Rusty, Crystal, and Lillian Martin.

 Relatives, family, and friends are invited to attend her funeral Service on Saturday, November 11, 2017 at Zion Hill Christian Church, 137 Zion Hill Lane, Boothville, LA for 12:30 PM. Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM. Pastor Samuel Crum, Sr. officiating. Interment will follow in First Mt. Zion Memorial Park Cemetery Empire, LA.

The family will receive guest on Friday, November 10, 2017 at Robinson Family Funeral Home for 6p.m. until 8 pm.
