CLARENCE “COWBOY” THOMAS of Phoenix La., departed this life Monday October 16, 2017 at Ochsner Main Campus Hospital, he was 74 years old.

“Cowboy” was a retired electrician with over 30 years of service. After his retirement he pursued many of his favorite hobbies which included bike riding, cooking, gardening and telling jokes.

Son of the late Joseph and Tozy Bentley Thomas.  Husband of the late Emelda M. Manuel.  Beloved father of Darnicisa and Darrell Miller.  Stepfather of Marvin Miller, Wanda Williams, Jerome, Darnell, Noel, Ron Miller and the late Arthur and Arnisea Miller. Brother of Joseph Jr. and Joanna Thomas and the late Susie Mae T. Williams, Gertrude T. Thomas, Arthur, James, Joanna, Earl and Wilfed Thomas.

Deceased is also survived by 46 grandchildren, 56 great grandchildren along with a host of other family members and devoted friends.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral services on Saturday October 28, 2017 at the St. Joseph Baptist Church located at 156 St Joseph Lane Phoenix La. at 11:30A.M.  Visitation will begin at 9:30A.M. Pastor August Picquet Jr. will officiate and Interment will take place in the church’s cemetery.

The family will also receive guest for a visitation on Friday October 27, 2017 at Robinson Family Funeral Home located at 9611 Hwy 23 Belle Chasse La. from 6P.M. until 8P.M.
