Albert Earl Davis of Belle Chasse La., passed away peacefully at Ochsner Hospital Westbank surrounded by his loving family on Sunday August 20, 2017, he was 83 years old.  He was born in Hazel Hurst Mississippi on November 5, 1933 to the late Virgil and Maggie Mae Davis.

He is survived by his children Allen Lee (Debra) Burns, Charles Burns, Mary (Ronald) Williamson, Rochelle (Wayne) Franklin, Melvin (June) Smith and Stella Jackson, 22 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife Martha Lee Davis, and 3 sons, Freddie and James Earl Burns and Leon Jackson.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a “Celebration of Life” service on Saturday August 26, 2017 at St. Peter Missionary Baptist Church located at 182 W. St. Peter St. Oakville La., at 1 P.M.  Visitation will begin at 11 A.M.  Dr. Darnell Smith Sr. officiating.  Interment will follow in Oakville Cemetery, Oakville La.
