Theresa Mary Landen

Theresa Mary Landen, affectionately known as "Tee", of New Orleans, Louisiana died Tuesday, April 9, 2024 at Touro Infirmary. She was 68 and born in New Orleans, Louisiana to Mrs. Alice and Mr. Percy Landen, MD. She graduated from W.L. Cohen H.S. in New Orleans, and other fields of technical training. She retired from the State of Louisiana with over 35 years of experience in patient support services. She loved the staff of University Medical Center, especially The Trauma Center night shift. Her attendance and work performance were impeccable but second to her love for family and friends. Theresa is preceded in death by her parents, Mrs. Alice Thelma and Mr. Percy Landen, M.D., her brother, Mr. Elson Byrd, and the love of her life, Mr. Charles Grant. She is survived by her siblings, Mr. Harold Landen, Ms. Audrey Landen, and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, a godchild, friends and neighbors.
A mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, April 20, 2024, at St. Katherine Drexel Catholic Church located at 2015 Louisiana Avenue, New Orleans, La. 70115. Visitation is at 10:00 a.m. and mass to follow at 11:00 a.m. Fr. J. Asare-Dankwah, officiating and interment will be private. All friends and family are invited to attend.
